Meet Ben Leonard

 

Ben Leonard is a third-generation realtor.

He is also a ruthless Monopoly player.

So, as an adolescent, it quickly became apparent there was a talent for real estate blossoming. Often times his opponents wished to stay in jail than have to meander ’round the board through Ben’s path.

Real estate was entrenched in Ben’s lineage. He knew early what he was destined to do.

He knew because there was nothing that fascinated him more than when his Realtor uncle, Dwight Taylor, would excuse himself from family dinners to take calls from clients and successfully broker deals. Dwight was the son of Seth Taylor, the founder of landmark Mississauga real estate brokerage, Parsons-Taylor. Ben followed in the footsteps of Dwight and Seth, Ben’s late maternal grandfather, entering the family business in his late 20s. He had already gained valuable experience in the construction industry, working on job sites with his Dad, where he developed a passion for building and rebuilding, and saw firsthand how a house comes together.

Ben began his real estate career with Mississauga-based RE/MAX Realty Specialists in 1999. He was able to gain extensive experience in the marketing and selling aspects of residential real estate. His early successes signalled Ben was on the right path.

A traveller at heart, Ben moved west and soon joined RE/MAX Professionals in Calgary, gaining exposure to a different type of market. Upon moving back to Toronto, he has consistently been among the top-producing agents with RE/MAX Realty Specialists, achieving a Platinum designation for the last several years with Dwight.

Ben’s extensive knowledge of the Mississauga, Hamilton and St. Catharines markets led him to become one of the go-to agents for home sales in the west-end GTA, with much of his business driven by referrals. Now, living in midtown Toronto with his young family, Ben has been focusing much of his efforts closer to home, alongside the downtown core.

Ben has a relentless work ethic and is continually driven to ensure his clients are happy and feel well taken care of. He stops at nothing to get the job done, and he is meticulous and thorough. His integrity is something he doesn’t take lightly, nor is his professionalism. His clients say they appreciate his loyalty, his individualized approach to each of their stories, and his calm, friendly demeanor.

Ben prides himself on the high level of service he provides, and comes armed with an exceptional team of contractors, landscapers, stagers, photographers — whatever it takes to put his clients’ homes in the best light for sale. And that is meant quite literally — he will even purchase strategic lighting to ensure the room or hallway is performing at its best.

Ben is a student of Mandarin Chinese, taught scuba diving in Thailand through PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) and lived throughout Asia for nearly three years. He is known for his love of food and spends most of his down time in the kitchen cooking with his incredible fiancée and little girl. His passion for life is contagious, his enjoyment of people is immediately recognizable. Consequently, Ben appreciates the relationships he builds with his clients, who regularly become real friends.
