Madness of a Realtor

Friday Oct 26th, 2018

Driving around our incredible St. Clair West neighbourhood is getting quite fun these days. I can see people are really getting into the Halloween spirit. I'm glad to see I am not ... er ... alone. Our house has begun to take on a life of its own. Life amongst the undead, that is.

It might be surprising to some that I admittedly have this crazy kid inside me, who, once he smells the pumpkins and sees the Halloween movies hit the TV lineup, cannot wait to tear into the stores and begin designing what the front lawn will look like through the month of October. This year I was given the green light from my fiancée, Jenn, to go nuts to my heart's content. What has begun to transpire on our front lawn is sheer madness — and I am certainly proud of it.

This is the madness of a Realtor who typically contemplates light fixtures and flooring — monsters and ghosts and a 7-foot-tall Beetlejuice who talks and will probably scare the bejeezus out of passersby. Oh my front lawn has become my happy place to let my creative juices fly.

I am contemplating a massive — and when I saw massive I mean MASSIVE — green Frankenstein. My neighbours may hate me, but the kiddies in  all of them will love it, I just know it.
